Yiannis Katsaris’s photos of our performance at the ‘Museum of Dark Places’, part of The Museum of London‘s The Night Museum series, inviting nocturnal visitors to a programme night walks, talks, performances and journeys of discovery into the dark heart of the city.
The choir is seen performing Charles Mingus’s Weird Neightmare in the underbelly/loading bay area of the Musueum. The audience wears blue visors by painter Sarah Kate Wilson. At St Botolph’s without Aldersgate, Musarc performed Book of Night with members of the audience, a libretto written by the choir in response to the night's themes of Darkness, Loss and Endings.
The Museum of Dark places was curated by Jes Fernie. The event series was conceived by Ruth Lie and Lauren Parker, Museum of London. Click here for more information about the event.
