Rachael Perrin

Rachael is a clarinettist and saxophonist from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Originally from the South Coast she now lives and works in central London as a performer, workshop leader and teacher. She currently performs in a range of contexts; from classical orchestral and chamber music ensembles to creative groups based on drama and improvisation.

Rachael is passionate about collaborative practise and is fascinated by the relationship between visual art, film and music. Her training has been predominately classical; however she has explored and performed in a wide range of genres, including jazz, soul, folk, contemporary alongside many others. In September she will return to the Guildhall School to begin a Masters degree in Music Leadership and Collaborative Arts Practise where she plans to do further research with students at the Royal Academy of Art on the connections between music and visual art forms.
